https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D212670 Bug ID: 212670 Summary: Plugging/Unplugging headphones causes 10.3 system to hang Product: Base System Version: 10.3-STABLE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: roger@cs.wisc.edu CC: freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.org CC: freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 174748 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D174748&action= =3Dedit output from lspci I've installed FreeBSD onto my Asus laptop and have run into a interesting problem. If I try to use the headphone jack on my laptop it will cause my system to freeze forcing me to do a hard reboot. The problem occurred initi= ally when I used the FreeBpersiSD 10.3 release and which I tried to correct by updating the system to 10.3 stable. The system will also freeze if I start = the system with the headphones connected and then unplug them once it's started= and I'm logged in. The headphones also don't work when the system is started wi= th them plugged in (the system will only freeze once they are disconnected). I= 've attached a txt file with the output to lspci as an attachment with the hard= ware used in my system. I'm afraid I haven't been able to get any more info on t= he problem to help diagnose the problem. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
