Using them would just make your computer room much warmer. About the only use for peltier effect coolers in computers is the overclocking freaks who use refrigerant cooling and then add peltier cells to cool the CPU another 10-20° below the evaporator temperature. Heat pipes are a far more useful technology for CPU cooling but they don't seem to be common either. Peterhelp
