Hi ! Did a make release and burned a FreeBSD cd-rom from /disk2/release/R/cdrom/disc1 subdir. BTW, didn't build doc and ports ... Created a bootfloppy, used the boot.flp disc image. The floppy isn't bootable... First message that looks strange: No /boot/loader [...] Examples: [...] boot: No /kernel >> FreeBSD/i386 BOOT Default: 0:fd(0,a)/kernel boot: ? . .. boot.help boot.config kernel.config >> FreeBSD/i386 BOOT Default: 0:fd(0,a)/kernel boot: Looks like the floppy isn't complete ... -- Andreas Klemm http://www.FreeBSD.ORG/~andreas What gives you 90% more speed, for example, in kernel compilation ? http://www.FreeBSD.ORG/~fsmp/SMP/akgraph-a/graph1.html "NT = Not Today" (Maggie Biggs) ``powered by FreeBSD SMP'' To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
