Oh no, not in the > last week, anyway. Well, the diary is actually self-serving. I have a terrible memory when it comes to figuring out what I did. I was keeping a notebook, but I can't use the search engine on my notebook <grin>. And I figured that if I was typing my notes into the computer, it wasn't much more work to put them onto the web site. So I did. The diary has been useful when trying to explain to helpers what I've done. Also, the examples [how to install something] should prove useful to people who are doing the same things I'm doing. And I'm not doing anything that other newbies won't be trying. As usual, the biggest problem is figuring out *what* to do. Once you know that, the rest is pretty straight forward. OH, and yeah, I don't mind putting in the stupid stuff. Because that's what makes for the best reading. <grin> Glad you enjoyed it. Sorry about the coffee. You'll know next time. -- Dan Langille DVL Software Limited http://www.dvl-software.com/freebsd : my [mis]adventures To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
