It's theoretically possible, but highly unlikely.  It'd have to be 
eating packets of just a specific type, although not absolutely 
identical.

Using a different card might alter the timing so that your problem is 
not reproducible, however I am of the opinion that are one or more 
cases still outstanding from the above fix.

David Greenman (dg@freebsd.org) was responsible for the previous fixes, 
hence my copying him on this.
