The following reply was made to PR amd64/86080; it has been noted by GNATS. I've used mplayer with the xv driver on a radeon under 6.2-RELEASE and 6-STABLE without problems on amd64. Also update X to the latest version in ports. Recently I've been using 7.0-BETA. Mplayer works fine with the xv driver. BTW, I'm not sure that the XVideo extension that the xv driver uses has anything to do with DRI. Check that the XVideo extension is used by Xorg:=20 'grep XVideo /var/log/Xorg.0.log' Roland --=20 R.F.Smith http://www.xs4all.nl/~rsmith/ [plain text _non-HTML_ PGP/GnuPG encrypted/signed email much appreciated] pgp: 1A2B 477F 9970 BA3C 2914 B7CE 1277 EFB0 C321 A725 (KeyID: C321A725) --MfFXiAuoTsnnDAfZ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFHXssTEnfvsMMhpyURAipkAJ9eLo+fK1tx3FrrQELlNqdvg8R15ACeOhgY A9mTT5HjK9+PXJRfKRmPqUA= =Zw9W -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --MfFXiAuoTsnnDAfZ--home | help
