Hi Francis, Thanks but I don't think that's the problem as i've seen it happen in lots of different machines with completely different hardware.. I'm currently battling a machine with 480W redundant power supplies. Is the Promise RAID any good? Is it controllable from FreeBSD ? Thanks, Adrian.
