            Bug ID: 296342
Summary: Bugzilla is constantly checking to see if I'm a bot,
and I think it's interfering with some things.
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
               URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Website
          Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: bob@vesterman.com

My apologies if this ("Documentation/Website") is not the appropriate
Product/Component for such reports; I haven't found a better match.

For a while now, this FreeBSD Bugzilla site has been checking to see if I'm a
bot very, very frequently; often for every single page view (or at least for a
bunch of page views in a row). This takes a few seconds each time, which is a
little annoying, but not really a big deal. But:

After it decides I am not a bot (which I assert is correct, take it or leave
it), it displays the page that I was trying to get to, but more often than not
apparently with no CSS styling. This is significantly more annoying than the
delay. The site's pages are of course functional even without the styling, but
the styling *really* helps with the ease of usability.

I don't know, but I am guessing that perhaps the time that it takes to do the
check somehow interferes with getting and/or rendering the CSS.

Also, when I try to submit a bug, after the bot check, very often it goes to
the page saying that I need to pick the product that it applies to (or
something like that) -- even if I had done so. It's done it a few times so far
while I've been trying to submit this very bug, for example. I'm also guessing
this might be related to the delays from the constant bot checking.
