As for its use as a web-server - it will serve you long and reliably.

The short answer is "no". Not in the manner that say, MacOS is (pretty
much) a GUI-only OS. However, all is not lost - XFree86 (a free X-Window
implementation) comes to the rescue, and is compatable with a wide
variety of video cards. Using X, you can add various GUI's to FreeBSD,
although typically, X is used in a 'workstation' situation rather than a
'server' situation.

So the long answer to the question is "yes" :')
