We exclusively use Qlogic 2342's for our FC HBAs. Works great, modulo some minor hacks we had to put into isp(4) to deal with some insanely braindead JBODs (sure, we'll advertise every disk on luns 0-255 ....). Very heavy-duty IO environment, too. Now, if someone(tm) would produce a decent JBOD solution that provide 2*2Gbps FCAL to a 3U 16-bay U160/U320 SCSI box, I'd be insanely happy. SATA just doesn't cut it for that particular part of our application, and full-blown FCAL drives are stupidly expensive. -aDe
