Hello!

Being a newby to FreeBSD, I have many, many questions which I would like to
share :)
Well, I have this Plug and Play modem (stupid me :), ZOOM Comstar Speakerphone
SVD 33.6 (Model 2800), which works fine with Linux.
Under FreeBSD, I used -c kernel.GENERIC during boot time, and I entered:
pnp 1 0 enable os irq0 3 drq0 0 port0 0x2e8
to set the modem to com4.
The problem is, when I try to use the modem through
cu -l /dev/cuaa3
I get a "Device not configured message".
Can you help me with that?
Is there any way to have FreeBSD automatically set up the modem, without
the need to run the -c option during boot time, and any possible comcontrol
and stty?

Signed,
Alexandros Andreou
