Prior to this, the network hang (no watchdog timeouts) was trivially reproducible with an NFS-mounted FreeBSD repository to two builder boxes, and running cvs -q upd on the ports tree at the same time. (the builder boxes also have em(4) interfaces, which I haven't patched, but they're running 7.0-CURRENT). Everything is i386.
