I would like to specify a netgroup that specifies a number of machines that can mount the exported file system. I have setup a netgroup file in /var/yp. Right now it has on entry: lab (pw,,mynet) (nw,,mynet) I then typed make to recreate the map files. In my export file I created an entry: /home -maproot=0 -alldirs lab pw# /sbin/mount_nfs oscar:/home /oscar/home mount_nfs: can't access /home: Permission denied From the examples in the man page this should work (/usr /usr/local -maproot=0:10 friends where friends is a netgroup). If I change 'lab' to the machine names it works fine. --------------846B359F432684704BABF4DC Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="paul.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Card for Paul Wolstenholme Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="paul.vcf" begin:vcard n:Wolstenholme;Paul x-mozilla-html:FALSE org:SMA Webware adr:;;;;;; version:2.1 email;internet:paul@zzube.com note;quoted-printable:-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----=0D=0AVersion: PGPfreeware 6.5.2 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com>=0D=0A=0D=0AmQENAziGD+8AAAEIAN/sBjsAb6WDbV/qluL84+8WEFeKeaNJz6tn7Apv9r2AQDij=0D=0ANGzTtI+LEa/9xjldoBVMU1xJ3/PIldVRYEV+DFuk9QSy9NXZIVMHJ4QtpgKtHA3I=0D=0ArW14kJFnQVxKZtotdqPKIEA6p5MwU0tomsclW7f6KM8OorTi50JiFAj9ChHZFEFg=0D=0AAouW5EcmpGbsEeFXaoGc966YIFJAVQdeiVodyx9N89X0nMFnI9pFeAWB5ZBvCQtv=0D=0Aa4kG6em8AhmFt0A07+GibkCEv0Skh4rFVXQtmnK1mqbvcI3Il1VZ/8U4YLPjXs/m=0D=0AfFbFwKs1ONUrMTcUaNUTwLupq8N4qYnNswx35BMABRG0I1BhdWwgV29sc3Rlbmhv=0D=0AbG1lIDx3b2xzdGVuYUBzZnUuY2E+iQEVAwUQOIYP76mJzbMMd+QTAQGEsQf9Ereu=0D=0A6o6AVeKYE9jQPvYzLZUHLObpVyDhYT2RTiXaX9MroSWwxIFuINy92AGiDshqYufY=0D=0AACZH5yRJgyBhKLgMkl48Sr0bfsu7P20Uch2F0JCYz6UhS6tV/LS+3eueh55a03Mm=0D=0AScE4HitUVLJTyddaSQZAS2yL0lrylLUWfja3tt/bV1J+pHcQa+WHfX5ZEsGhIE/E=0D=0Ahm6eGYrOjfaFRmIyOcCVZh0umjRYu2GguKIiFGNPb81CV7mzkdNXWpiuSkRlXhv+=0D=0A0yeq1e9Bxg9xRITgvDqH+zbrgiChIcjjX0raKHadlNclOMrELgJjWHc+1iuo845S=0D=0AUBCIEjVYoiAT7TopJA=3D=3D=0D=0A=3DdMDP=0D=0A-----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK----- x-mozilla-cpt:;-19136 fn:Paul Wolstenholme end:vcard --------------846B359F432684704BABF4DC-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
