Running:

    FreeBSD 4.9-STABLE #0: Thu Oct 30 12:13:34 NZDT 2003

Had a system crash just yesterday, I was pushing the machine quite
hard with a lot of disk-activity and load-average of 3+. No
crash-dumps unfortunately, but I did get a message:

> panic: bremfree: removing a buffer not on a queue
>
> syncing disks... panic: getnewbuf: locked buf

On rebooting the machine failed to complete the auto-fsck with a
softupdate inconsistency, and I had to re-fsck manually.

dmesg output attached.
