The corrected patch (tested) is at the same location. Some random statistics: On an example (high, constant) TX load, I get the following data: 5.2 -polling 5.2 +polling 4.9 -polling 4.9 +polling ------- --------------- --------------- --------------- ------------ ste(4) 77 Kps 102 Kps 70 Kps 96 Kps vr(4) 53 Kps 100 Kps 63 Kps 105 Kps (Kps =3D=3D kilopackets per second) One 5.2 box was used for testing, which has both ste(4) and vr(4) cards, and two 4.9 boxes, which have ste(4) and vr(4), respectively.
