For those that are looking to mark something up, I tossed together a quick ditty about running bind9 in a chroot() jail. It ain't much, but surprisingly, this topic isn't covered and the existing /etc/rc.d/named chroot_autoupdate() function only works for bind8. So, for those running bind9 and want to run it in a jail, here's the overview at 5,000 kmph. http://people.freebsd.org/~seanc/bind9/ I'm not 100% sure where this goes given bind8 is what's in the base/docs (for now), but for there archives/search engines, there's now something on the topic. -sc -- Sean Chittendenhome | help
