A friend of mine is working on porting the linux ipxping utility
(to ping Novell Netware Servers via IPX). Has anyone got
a working port or any suggestions?

Current output is
			bash# ./ipxping e4498aaa 00:00:00:00:00:01
error: ipx_send: Can't assign requested address

He said he ran into this on a linux box had and to use some ipx utils
for linux to setup an IPX routing table. We're currently
using IP to look at our netware servers, but ipx is the core
protocol for Netware and if it stops working and IP is working then
things just aren't working for most services.
