[-- Attachment #1 --] Has anyone had luck getting X 3.3.6 to run with 4.0-RELEASE on this piece of garbage Compaq 1750? It sports an ATI Rage PRO LT chip. I have no problems running Linux on it at 1024X768, but Linux is garbage and slow compared to BSD. I even tried to modify the config file for X from the Linux install. I can't even get the graphical setup programs to run. It simply goes to run XF86Setup and just blanks the screen, but does not lock the install.
