Hi all,
well, I'm disapointed a bit of 4.7-RELEASE for Alpha.
4.6 was running excellent on my AS500/400, and now look at this!
But maybe anybody can tell me if it's possible to solve
that problem...
Booting 4.7-RELEASE from CDROM or Floppy (for a clean, new install)

Ok, that's it. HD/CDROM-LED is "ON", AlphaStation hangs.
My hardware didn't change at all. Here pciconf of QLogic:
