The SCSI bus resets are probably harmless, but the error messages can come at inopportune times. You can stop most of the bus resets by changing a value in the SCSI cards's BIOS. There is a setting called "Reset SCSI Bus at IC Initialization" under Advanced Configuration Options that should stop the error messages. Try changing the setting on *just* the Windows machine. This only affects the "errors" at startup. If you find the SCSI bus resetting during normal operation, something else might be wrong. You might also have noticed a section of your Adaptec User's Manual called "Installing Multiple SCSI Cards". Ignore this section, it only refers to cases where multiple cards are installed in a single machine.
