 No sig 11:

 That's the strange thing: just the java compilers fail to work!
The machine are actually an ISP working 24 x 7 with a lot of sofware
installed on them and they only go down when I install a new
kernel and makeworld:

 Thank you for you help, but as you can see the compiler
itself fails to run!
