Hello, on one of my servers I am using gnome, and I noticed that after every time I used it, I get a couple of these entries when doing a netstat -a: Active UNIX domain sockets Address Type Recv-Q Send-Q Inode Conn Refs Nextref Addr c8b0aec0 stream 20 0 0 0 0 0 /home/fritz/.esd/socket I tried to find out what it might be, and it turns out it has something to do with an audio driver. Any ideas how I can avoid having all these open sockets? Is there a way to close an open socket? Thanks, DrTebi _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
