I guess this part was reply to Lars Engels from comment #18:

I don't think 12.1 vs -CURRENT would cause a difference here; all one has t=
o do
is to clone Henri's GitHub repo, type "make", and play with it on any
relatively recent FreeBSD version/branch.  There's even no need to wait for=
 it
to land in HEAD (which, given the current state of the driver, is not
immediately foreseeable anyway).
