the freebsd handbook does a great job at explaining how to setup X and
gnome.Should take you a total of 10 mins to get things going smooth if you
follow it.

Subject: Setting up X and GNOME on FreeBSD 4.9

I am trying to setup X and GNOME under FreeBSD 4.9 and not having much luck.
Are there any places with any good tutorials that anyone can suggest? I am
fairly comfortable with FreeBSD outside of X, but I have never tried to
setup X on any of my BSD machines before. Any pointers would be appreciated,

Thanks
