The D815EEA has two PCI audio subsystems. The basic audio subsystem uses ICH2 (Intel 82801BA I/O controller hub) and an AD1885 codec. The optional audio subsystem uses (the ICH2 and) a Creative Labs ES1373. Your system includes the ES1373. I'm guessing that Tony's doesn't, and neither does mine. However, I believe ICH2 support is on its way. The ICH2 generates this message: pci0: <unknown card> (vendor=0x8086, dev=0x2445) at 31.5 irq 9 If whoever is working on ICH2 support wants help coding or testing it, they should get in touch.
