Hmm, this could be a fine intermediate solution until I get the infrastructure for real PM / SMART finished. I'll look this over and get it committed. One thing though the name ata_suspend is a bit off IMHO, something like ata_spindown/ata_standby would be more descriptive I think. -Søren
