主题: diff and tarball issues
Hi,
I have installed a copy of cvsweb on a Solaris box running off:
cvs 1.11
RCS 5.7
And have the following problems:
My cvsweb.conf file is pretty off-the-shelf.
I run into the following issues:
1./
When clicking A unified diff 'diff' for a given file, I get:
RCS file: /home/tkralidi/cvsroot/owsview/blank.html,v
retrieving revision 1.1
retrieving revision 1.2
diff -u -p -r1.1 -r1.2
/bin/diff: illegal option -- u
usage: diff [-bitw] [-c | -e | -f | -h | -n] file1 file2
diff [-bitw] [-C number] file1 file2
diff [-bitw] [-D string] file1 file2
diff [-bitw] [-c | -e | -f | -h | -n] [-l] [-r] [-s] [-S name]
directory1 directory2
rcsdiff: /home/tkralidi/cvsroot/owsview/blank.html: diff failed
2./
Upon requesting a tarball for a given module: I get the following error:
cvs co failure: No such file or directory:
Note that my CVSROOT/val-tags file is world writeable for now.
Any suggestions would be valued.
Thanks
..Tom
