Well, you may not want to hear it. During builds like this, if you
check the FAQ's, a signal 11 during a compile is usually due to flaky
hardware. I think the most common cause listed is flaky memory. It
works but isn't up to speed in some category.

There are other programming errors that will cause it but that doesn't
happen that often. 

What version of FreeBSD are you using?
