My intended goal was the proposed patch should be applied to the lega= cy i440fx VM and verify that all configurations and applications work as befor= e.=20 Then simply removing the HDD and attaching it to a non OVMF Q35 VM for quick and easy migration. I left a few commented code as I'm still not very familiar with FreeBSD's networking, more so for the netmap (ie whether to merge vtnet_netmap_free_b= ufs and vtnet_free_used).
