Dear Friends: I have a pc running win98. I am also going to install "freebsd" on this computer. So, I copied the fdimage.exe file and *.flp file from internet to my C: drive, then I image copied these files from DOS to the floppies with command "C>fdimage kern.flp a:" Now, at the begening of the boot process for FTP installation, I got the following error message: /kernel text=0x21e97e data=0x2cd90+0x20688 zf_read: fill error elf_loadexec: cannot seek can't load module '/kernel': input/output error Can any one can give a clue what has caused this error. You help is highly appreciated. Thank you! Bill Zhao tzhao@netacc.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
