 They are supported for quite some time, but their autoconfigure
 features will never be supported under 2.1.0 ...
 
 I can provide you with information on how to make both the RTL8029
 (using the "de" driver) and the AMD PCnet/PCI (as a "lnc") work under
 2.1.0R, but you may want to consider upgrading to a more recent 
 release where they work out of the box.
