I'm under the impression that if you add virtual interfaces under Solaris
2.6, all packets will be broadcast from the interface that was added last. 
If you don't have 2 physical interpaces in the Sun, this could be the
cause of the problem.  This was discussed on the solaris-x86 mailing list,
you can search the list archives at
