We had a situation yesterday where someone had written an incorrect
disklabel, and one partition was overlapping the swap partition,
with the predictably disasterous results.

It seems like 'mount' (either the program or in the kernel) could do
a quick disklabel sanity check before mounting a partition and give
a warning or error if the thing you're about to mount overlaps something
already mounted (or swapon'd).

How hard would this be to do? Where would be the right place in the
code to do it?
