<DIV></DIV>&gt;This was what was in the readme.txt file in all of the ftp sites, hope
<DIV></DIV>&gt;this helps - Dave:
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;This directory contains FreeBSD ISO images that can be used to burn a
<DIV></DIV>&gt;complete set of FreeBSD installation and package CDs. Starting with
<DIV></DIV>&gt;FreeBSD 4.4, 5 CD images are provided:
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;4.4-mini.iso - Minimal bootable 4.4 installation CDROM image.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;4.4-install.iso - 4.4 ISO 9660 bootable (El Torrito) CDROM
<DIV></DIV>&gt;image.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;4.4-disc2.iso - Live filesystem "Fix it" CD and CVS
<DIV></DIV>&gt;repository.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;4.4-disc3.iso - Extra packages for FreeBSD 4.4
<DIV></DIV>&gt;4.4-disc4.iso - Extra packages for FreeBSD 4.4
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Only 4.4-install.iso is required for the "standard FreeBSD installation
<DIV></DIV>&gt;experience", e.g. FreeBSD 4.4 + XFree86 3.3.6 + an essential (but
<DIV></DIV>&gt;minimal)
<DIV></DIV>&gt;package collection. If you want just FreeBSD 4.4 and little else,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;the 4.4-mini.iso image can also be used. The other ISO images are
<DIV></DIV>&gt;more or less self-explanatory as listed above and purely optional.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;If you're looking for a more hand-held experience with printed
<DIV></DIV>&gt;documentation,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;technical support and the joy of knowing that you are supporting the
<DIV></DIV>&gt;FreeBSD project, please see:
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; http://www.freebsdmall.com
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Where you can obtain a 4-CD set in a nice box that includes
<DIV></DIV>&gt;documentation,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;etc.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Thanks!
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;--
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Usage:
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;FreeBSD users: /usr/ports/sysutils/cdrecord is probably just what
<DIV></DIV>&gt;you're looking for when it comes to burning these images to a SCSI
<DIV></DIV>&gt;CD-R drive. If you're using an IDE CD-R drive, use the built-in
<DIV></DIV>&gt;burncd command.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Windows/MacOS users: These are standard ISO images! Most burner
<DIV></DIV>&gt;software packages will deal with them just fine without having to
<DIV></DIV>&gt;change them in any way.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Users of other operating systems will have to locate the appropriate
<DIV></DIV>&gt;tools for writing these kinds of images to the CD-R drive.

<DIV></DIV>&gt;Yea your right there should be a readme in the 4.4 directory that tells
<DIV></DIV>&gt;about the three ISO images avilible. But guess what there is NOT. So
