Sorry, this isn't supported.  Both FreeBSD 4 and FreeBSD 5 have reached
end-of-life with respect to ports support.

Many people are reporting good success with FreeBSD 7.0; if you are more
conservative, you might wish to try installing 6.3 instead.

At this point there are so many differences between what you have
installed, and the modern variant of the Ports Collection, that you are
probably in best shape if you do a reinstall from scratch.  (Otherwise,
you are going to need to upgrade source to RELENG4_EOL, 5.3, RELENG_5,
and then to 6.X; I don't think anyone has done this for a while).
