The following is also wrong. This answer should have the CNAME record in the answer section. The servers for perl.org silently ignore the EDNS part of EDNS queries treating them as plain DNS queries. Also the load balancer doesn't understand EDNS resulting in double queries to the load balancer. One EDNS and one non-EDNS.
