That motherboard has two versions, one with just a 2-port SATA/RAID on ICH5= =20 and another with an additional 4-port SATA/RAID from Promise. I know the Promise RAID controllers are better supported by FreeBSD, so it= =20 may be if you are using the ICH5 RAID may not be supported by FreeBSD.
