            Bug ID: 281735
Summary: Installer Auto (UFS) should offer GELI encryption
           Product: Base System
           Version: Unspecified
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: misc
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: weberbug@gmx.de

The FreeBSD installer does not offer GELI encryption for Auto (UFS).
Currently this can only done with error prone manual steps.
on-on-ufs-filesystem/)

The ZFS installer does offer encryption, but people might prefer UFS (for
reasons of memory usage or performance, e.g. on a virtual server).

So, the Auto (UFS) installer should also offer GELI encryption.
