Hi,

I am trying to configure a SMP kernel (FreeBSD 3.4) in
a Compaq proliant 6000 model machine with 2 Pentium II
Xeon Processor. The kernel crashes while booting saying
APIC RTC !=8. The options which are enabled in the
configuration file as follows.

options SMP
options APIC_IO

options NCPU=2
options NBUS=4
options NAPIC=1
options NINTR=61

mptable gives the same values as above.
I tried with NAPIC=8,but it doesn't work. I am not
able to get any motherboard model no.

Any help will be deeply appreciated

Regards,
Nandan
