What is the canonical way to override the python version installed with 
the lang/python metaport? It appears to be to use PYTHON_DEFAULT_VERSION 
in make.conf. Am I right here?

It would be nice if PYTHON_VERSION was overridable from the command line, 
which it isn't since the version is not set with ?=.
