Thanks.  Guess I shoulda examined a full "locate sendmail". :)  The doc
is the ASCII version.  I've only seen the Postscript version before.

The "missing help files" (under /usr/src/contrib/sendmail) include
    FAQ
    KNOWNBUGS
    README
    RELEASE_NOTES
    src/README
    src/SECURITY
    src/TRACEFLAGS
    src/TUNING

And the Handbook even tells you to how to create "localhost-v6.rev" (by
running /etc/named/make-localhost) which is quite helpful, once you
learn you need to to set up and run named to support the enabled-by-
default sendmail.

Thanks for the tip. Please excuse my sarcasm; your tip really was
helpful in leading me to investigate /etc/named/* and then to the
handbook to learn what make-localhost was about.
