--nFreZHaLTZJo0R7j Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Hi doc team, http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=docs/71359 from September documents a serious error in /usr/share/examples/etc/make.conf from RELENG_5 - the CXXFLAGS do not work with 5.x. Only knowing a little about C++, I blindly copied the recommended CXXFLAGS while constructing a make.conf and subsequently had a bit of trouble tracking down the cause of the error. It doesn't look like the report has been touched in months. The fix is a one-liner - take out the broken CXXFLAGS mentioned in the report. It'd be great if that were fixed or at least put back on someone's radar.
