Any further comments on this patch, or am I perhaps asking in the wrong place
(maybe I should be asking in freebsd-hackers)?

I don't like to seem pushy, but it would be nice to get this patch (or any
patch which will fix this kernel panic, for that matter) into one of the
upcoming stable releases; I can't implement a workaround in the Speedtouch
software.

Cheers,
Jay
