I use that URL with KDE's ticker to get a scrolling > display of FreeBSD news. Here's what I have on my Ximian summary page - Error downloading RDF: http://slashdot.org/slashdot.rdf Error downloading RDF: http://www.freebsd.org/news/news.rdf Error downloading RDF: http://daily.daemonnews.org/ddn.rdf.php3 So you can see it's not working for 3 differant sites, yet it does work for (-)www.BSDtoday.com.I see something differant about the last one, the (-) instead of http:// . I'll have to look for a config file to see where those are defined and change the ones that don't work to match the one that does and see if that helps. Those links are copied/pasted directly from the Ximian summary page, so they are accurate with the summary page. I don't know what the (-) means, but evidently it means something to Ximian. -- Chip To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
