The new machine is here, and we're tyring to track down the freezes. The builders come out tomorrow, but in the mean time I'm trying to gather data. Once it starts freezing, it tends to continue. However, so far, they seem to have more to do with heavy network activity than with load--e.g., a make update while pumping in data from the laptop at 500Kb/s. Has anyone seen similar problems?
