Huh?  I'm running 2.0.5R (not even 2.1!) and my SB16 works perfectly.  I 
can play MODs, AU's, MIDI sequences, you name it, with no problems.

Are you sure your sound card is configured right, or if it is a 
"faithful" SB16 clone or a really bad one?
