Having just spent 5 hours debugging a silent hang in EISA bus probe (even with boot -v) I'm tempted to ask, why doesn't device_probe_and_attach explicitly announce the device it's going to probe if bootverbose is set ? Thought I'd ask here before I submit a PR. -Arun BTW: There seem to be 30+ critical + 130+ serious bugs against 5.0 at the time of its release. Are developers looking at the gnats db at all ?
