Call to login(3) that is maden from a.out binary makes the old-style
utmp-record in /var/log/wtmp with size of 36 bytes instead of 44 bytes.
Then, /var/log/wtmp can't be used in ordinary way (e.g., by last(1)).

Originally, problem was taken with mgetty-1.1.11. mgetty was maden under
FreeBSD 2.2.7-RELEASE.
