Besides it being logically a separate piece of software, I don't think the sendmail port version should have to change every time vbsfilter comes out with a new version. Also, I see no reason to build/install the sample filter from the README. It's probably of little real value. Instead, I think libmilter.a and include/libmilter/mfapi.h should be installed for other filters to use (such as the new, separate vbsfilter).
