The following reply was made to PR ports/35388; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Dominik Brettnacher <domi@saargate.de> To: Pete Fritchman <petef@entropy.csh.rit.edu> Cc: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org, <areilly@bigpond.net.au> Subject: Re: ports/35388: xsane_create_secure_file fails if file exists: wrong. I updated the xsane port from xsane version 0.82 to 0.84 on the same day Andrew installed xsane, so he unfortunately got an old version. xsane 0.84 seems to have a completely rewritten xsane_create_secure_file() function which removes the file before it creates a new one. Andrew, I would suggest to update xsane and check if the problem still exists. If not, the problem report could be closed. -- Dominik To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
